Update 2009
16/12
Today I have been training sessan on Game.
Had a Duck to train with and was very courious to find out if she was just as
spontanious on the game as she use to.
No doubht that this young girl is in her right element. she was so spontanious on the duck and retrieved it over and over again, besides that she has the most amazing grib :o)
Is there anything better than a dog that loves
to work?!! All the times Sesan retrieved the Duck she held it so perfect as you
can se on pictures :o)
Is so funny to have a dog, with so much instinct and it made a situation that I had not predicted...
Sessan suddently desided to run away with the Duck and then came back without it. The young girl had desided to hide the "Meal". I had to be very consistened in asking her to return the duck to me before she ran over and and collected the duck and came back with it to me. Then I through the Duck again and Sessan ran out to retrieve it. But a moment of lack of awareness from my side, suddently she had run of again and short time after returned with out the duck!
This time she had made shore
that I couldnt se where she had hidden it and she was very determined that it
had to stay hidden. I went up in the area where I knew she had hidden it and
insisted on her to return it.
Almost 5 minutes past before she gave up and went over to the place where she
had hidden it. She had been very clever hiding it and covered it well with a lot
of leaf and grass.
Yes it is not easy telling her that it is a nice pantry she got there, but that
there might be other animals, that would like to take the duck and eat it
thorugh the day/night... ;o)
Besides that we trained
delivery to hand. This is not something I have to use much energy on, because
she is so clever already. :o)
Guess next point is to make her sit on my left side andafter that deliver to my
hand.. but guess that wont either be a challenge... ;o)

Today it is the Princess and her 7 litter
mates 9 month old. A huge Congratulation to you all!
For me it have been exiting to
folow the first litter after Noah and with the Daughter Sessan close to me it
have been even more exiting.
The updates about the offspring have been many and very positive. A thing that I
have heard from all is that they have a lot of Hunt and working abilities in
them. Some more stubbern than others ;o).
The best thing is that they all have an excellent mentality!!
There have been a lot of BOB/BOS puppy prices, most of them with Honourary prices and fine critics. Now the grown up classes at dog shows are right a head and I wish them all the best of luck.
Here are 7 of the 8 charminge puppies at the
age of 7 weeks. Tyson unfortunetly is not in this picture. They are all looking
at their father opening a gift he got for becoming Danish Show Champion.
"All" except from little Sessan who is watching me instead with couriosity.
It have been so wonderfull untill now to hear about those active lives they all live. I am looking so much forward meeting them all in May and hope that I will have the opportunety to meet some before.
I do very much appreciate all those pictures I have gained untill now. It is a great joy to get to follow the offspring of Noah.
Yesterday Sessan and I went to
Naestved to buy some Ducks to the game practise. On the way home I discovered a
Seagull in the side o the road. I stopped the car and took a look at this dead
fellow. I was in luck it was very fine looking and I guess that it have been hit
by a truck. only a few hours earlier.
Besides that it was very big one and later on I weight it to be 1,3 kg.
When we came home I took it with me on our afternoon walk and for the first time Sessan got to retriever Seagull and then such a big one :o) To begin with she was not quite sure if she would pick it up, but when she overcome this (Is actually 3 month since last game handling) and carried the Seagull perfect. I was so impressed!
When some of her friends, 2 Eurasier came along, she was busy hiding her "treasure" from them, because she would defenetly not share with them ;o)
While Sessan was hiding th Seagull the
Eurasier was busy digging for Mouse's and I got this Snapshot!
Back again in the appartment, I began to putt the Ducks in the Freezer. Sessan was very interested and in fun I throw on of the frozen Ducks out in my yard for here to retrieve. So funny, she ran directly out there, smelled at the duck , and the picked it upo in an excellent grib, Came back to me and delivered to hand :o)
WOW :o) In the time I have had her, she have only retrieved some duck wings, but It have obiesly been enough.
I have putted some pictures from the event in Sessans Gallery.

A lot have happened since last time I wrote. First of alle Sessan have had her Debute in Puppy Class at the Int. Dogshow in Herning. First day she did very well and recieved a Very Promising and became BOS of 5 puppies entered. Next day it was a much more hard judge and she only recieved an Promising. Funny because the one giving her only Promising was a Allround Judge and they obiesly wants puppies to be finished in body already then. .... Grand father Mascot both days became BOB and in finalring, he looked so amazing that he was selected in the winner circle. and ended up becoming BIG 3 :o) First time in Danish Kennel Clubs history that a Toller get placed in the Group finals, 2 times in a year... and then it is amazing that it became father and son.. A few weeks later I
entered Sessan at her first test, a Working Trial in the Danish
Retriever Club. She had just become 8 month which is the lovest age for
entering this test. Sessan did more than fine. She recieved Maximum
points at this test and of course got approved on the test and got great
critic from judge :o) The approved Working
Trial gives her acces to the Field Trials in spring that she at earliest
can enter when she is 1 year old. I am looking so much forward to this
:o) |

These last 2 Sundays Sessan and I
have begon at the working trial
practise in Danish Retriever Club. Hopefully it will make us ready to go to the
test in 1 month time. There were a lot of dogs (25) at this practise and Sessan
is
only toller. She have shown very good abilities these 2 times. She is 100%
silent even at the shooting with following dummies shrown. She is doing very well, but I
still have to work on the free by foot and ordinary obedience.. The practise went well and I really have to train her in obedience. other than that she is so clever and i am possitive that we have a chance of making the test when it's time. During this last month I have testet Sessan on both gametracking (blood) and field search. She proven herself as a natural and 4 days after introducing her on the tracking we returned to the area where I had made one of the tracks. she herself found the scent and went tracking directly down to the end of the track marking the end so precise!! What an incredible nose this girl have :o). On field search she just begon searching without any help with good speed and used her nose very well!! The 20 of September I desided
in last minute to take at trip to the DKK Int. Dogshow in Broendby. It was very
hard in some situations to be there, but it ended up being better than I thought
it would be. |

3 weeks have past by, I am still very sad that Noah was
taken from me way to soon. I have receaved so many mails and messages in
Guestbook, on facebook, and so on. Thank you all means alot to me and I
remember you all. It has been so hart accepting not having Noah at my side any more. He ment every thing for me and my heart is still so broken. But live goes on and my pride and joy is to se his children doing so well. There are new pictures on the Noah Children Casper, Mille, Tyson, Wilma in liter 1, and Camille, Caprice, Cilla and Conrad in litter 2. In the Norwegan litter (Litter2) Caprice, Conrad and Cilla have entered at a All Breed Puppyshow. They totally cleaned up, and Caprice ended up with BOB -BIG1 and Best In Show 5. I am so proud!! Absolutely not every day a Toller wins so much!! I also had the great joy of meeting 4 of Noahs children from litter 1 in Sofiero (Sweden) last weekend. They have so many simularities with their father, so it really was a good experience for me :o). In Dalarna (Sweden) Noahs daughter Rica is having a great time. She even went alone on a Moose hunt the other day and even have Marathon swims in the lakes. Amazing little girl, who is not afraid of anything :o). Is going to be so exiting to follow her in the future !! At home Sessan continues to grow and
develop. At her 6 month she measures 46 cm and loks like she will become
a copy of her father in exterior, a thing that gives me great joy. I am
beginning to train her on the Game and first animal she had to work with
in over 2 month, was a Pigeon.

It is with great pain in my heart I write this. This morning I went for a walk with Noah and Sessan and through a ball in the area with high vegetation. Both dogs jump after the ball and crash together and one of the dogs makes a sound.. Sessan returns but Noah is nowhere to see and I get a bit worried, when he does not respond on my call's. I look in the big area but he is no where to see, and I make more
people to help me looking for him. We rush to the veterinarian and there he can confirm what I already know, that my wonderful Dog is dead... Peter Vet. Immediately makes an ortopsi on Noah and 1½ hour later i
get the results. Peter tells me that there was absolutely nothing wrong
with Noahs organs and only reason he could think of was an instant
aneurisme in his brain caused by the unlucky crash he had with Sessan.

What an amazing day this has been!! ;o)
I had for a long time my doubts if I should enter Noah in this competition, because I for one crazy reason thought that this judge wouldn't be for Noah's type but instead for the more heavy type. Luckely I changed my mind and took the chance and I am so happy for this :o))) Noah became BOB with the CACIB and later on he entered the Group 8 final and became amazing BIG3 in a extremely hard competition towards Top dogs in DK Usely it takes years between you see a Toller on the podium. Last time it happened was in Herning 3 years ago when
Andelokkerens Røde Oskar became BIG3. Other than that I only recall to
have seen at Toller get placed 10 years ago I think. I am so proud!! Noah had a super day and he showed all the way through with Katrine. Those 2 are made for each other :o) In pre judging he stood like a statue. Sessan also had her debut on going to such a dogshow
and she made it to perfection. She was so clever and all the new things
she handled so good. When "Aunt" Pia came and took her with her for a
small walk, she happily went along with her and just loved the attention
from the sorroundings. Now we are warming up to the next show in a month. It is a double show in Broendby, with the Copenhagen winner title on one of the days. Sessan will have her debute in Puppy class and I hope that Katrine and Noah will make it to the top one more time :o) Besides from that the next goal is to find some shows in Germany, Norway in our hunt for the last needed CACIB !! --------------------------------------------------------------- Resently I went on the Tollerspecialty with out dogs
to see the Noah offspring doing great in the Puppy classes. Caprice and
Cilla took the 1 and 2 place in a very hard competition amongst 17
entries :o) Conrad became 3 in the male Puppy class out of 7 only beaten
by 1½ month older puppies. |

Now the countdown for the Swedish Specialty has begon. I
am very happy that I will be able to partisipate in this big event, only
sad thing is that it will be without dogs .But am looking so much
forward seeing the children of Noah. Maria and even have planned on looking at the male dogs, and hope that there might be a lot to look at with so many dogs entering. Sessan have dropped almost all her puppy teath this last week and I think that every thing soon will be back to normal. Wish you all a very nice weekend. |

Today Noah and I entered an unofficial WT as the only
Toller. Noah worked great and got 87 points out of 100 point. I was very
satisfied.. Here are the results from every post :
Post 1 : 20. Post 2 : 18. Post 3 : 19. Post 4 :
18. Post 5 : 12. After that I socialized sweet Sessan and tested her on the shooting, wich she didn't react at at all. :o) She even tryed to retrieve a big Canada Geese, but it was bigger than her and after trying too grab the wing and pull it with her without any luck she gave up ;o) It was a really nice day and it will not be the last time I enter Noah and even Sessan at these tests. I have to brag about some off the Noah offspring in
Norway. 3 off them had their debut in puppy class. It went very well
eventhough they were judges by the very hard judge from Finland
: Hannele Jokisilta. Another news is that I am going to the Toller
specialty without dogs :o) I am so happy that Noahs breeder desided too
go and had 1 spare seat for me also :o) At last I am going to keep my fingers crossed for Mette and Zæsar who is entering the Youth championship in the Danish Retriever Club as the only Toller Ekvipage. Last weekend they got a 1 price in open class as the only one and I really believe in these 2, for making an outstanding performance :o) |

Today I celebrate Noah's 4 years birthday :o). There is
no doubt that I love my boy very much. I am so happy for these 4 years
we have had until now and I am looking forward to having many more in
the time to come. :o) Sessan have become excellent at the water retrieving. Now she swim without any hesitation up till 25 metres out in the lake and retrieves the dummy. She has a little sound, but nothing I cant handle without to much work and untill now there have been competition because Noah has been with us to the water every time.
Besides that they are both very clever in working together. You can see it on the picture below. :o)
No doubt that it is going to be very exiting to see what these next years will bring with these 2 dogs. I even got some more pictures of some of the Noah children and i have been updating Casper and Wilma's pages. Have many more pictures of the other offsprings, but it is a lot of work and I have to take 1 page at the time. But they both look amazing and Wilma who was very little and petit in the beginning, have really become a beauty. :o) Besides that Gunn Tove at Adorea Kennel have been
updating with a lot of new pictures of the Noah offspring in Norway

The week have past by with out any big happenings. Sessan
continues on beeing a super clever girl and I am so proud that she
through those 10 minutes I spend every day on training her shows so good
working abilities. Right now I am staying at Pia's place dog sitting for her while she is on a dogshow in Sweden with Zeus (keeping my fingers crossed for a great result). I took a craven up from the freezer, and took it with me. These last 2 days I have used it in practise these last 2 days. Sessan just continues on getting better and better. It is very seldom that she doesn't carry the game correct and the most important things is that she is super spontanious, has a wonderful soft mouth and al the time come and deliveres the game to my hand. It just cant be better :o) I am so imprest over her talents. Even Noah have regained his passion for working with the game. And after been looking at Sessan working from the other side of the fence, while Sessan retrieved the Craven. He was so eager, that he spontaniously retrieved the Craven, and it looked like he never had been doing amnything else. Believe that the next month game practise will get him ready for the fieldtrials this fall. He has really refound his joy by retrieving game. :o)
Sessan socialise very well together with Amber and the English Bulldog Trunte. Amber normally doesn't like puppies, but Sessan is OK, and that is a big deal. But Sessan is a very sweet and calm puppy and that Amber really like. Next week I will try if I can get my frezer full of cold game, so I really can get on with the game practise :o) Until then I will wish my visitors on my homepage a continues good weekend and for some a wonderful holiday. |

I just need to brag about my little girl :o) Today we
went into the nature resort into a area, with ½-1 metres of high
vegetation and through dummies. Noah has always been good in finding
those retrievings and now it was time to test little Sessan with dummies
up til 15 metres away. I know it sounds like a lot for a little girl on
only 14 weeks, but I already earlier on notised her extreamly good
working abilities. The first throwings were only
on 10 metres, and because she was lower than the grass vegetation, I was
very curious if she could find the dummy. There were nothing to be
worried about and she really worked herself hrough the vegetation, being
very strong in marking the dummie. Sometimes she was a little insecure
and went in to a fieldsearch shortly but quickly after went straight out
to the dummy. Just amazing of this little girl :o))) I am really enjoying my new home and it have begon too look like a home also eventhough I still miss to get my balcony nice and cosy and having some more pictures on the wall. The dogs love the balcony and have no problem being out there, looking down watching people pass by.
To have moved also gave me some unexpected advantages. For instance I lost 7 kg, this last few weeks and notised that my pants become loser for every day, so sure it aint over yet ;o). Maybee it finally is time for me to lose those (at this time) 40 kg, I weigh to much. I may just hope :o) |

Today we have been training. Noah got a lot of water
retrievings, wich he loved :o) Sessan still is a little careful, she is not yet convinced that she is ready for a kamikaze jump, but went into the water to the stumac. Guess she will jump in when she is ready. In stead i trained Sessan in a wet area, normally dry but after a few days of heavy raining, most of the vegetation was under water. I got some very possitive surprices and Sessan made work that Noah at the earliest was presented to at the age of 8 month :o) I was so imprest of the little girl, who also used her nose very well in the area. So amazing from a barely 14 weeks old puppy. The visling commands are also working fine and the 3x vistle she understands very good and come running every time :o). Clever girl!! |

Finally I have moved into my new appartement and
eventhough it has been hard work also to have a small puppy to take care
of at the same time, we survived.
I have gained a lot of possitive information on the Noah offspring both in Sweden and Norway, that they at some tuff puppies, with a lot of drive and instinct, togther with a lot of will to please. This is so wonderfull to hear and I feal that Noah at this moment have proven his worth, but offcourse you never know anything for sure, before all of them has been HD and have become 1½ years old. Noah got a big challenge this other day. The area we mowed into, has a beautiful natural resort with big wet area leading down to a stream. I through some baby dummies out in the area about 40 metres and sent Noah. With a vegetation at 1 metre and wet underground, Noah really came to work, but he borked very controlled and I could easily guide him through the area to the dummy. He was very happy afterwards and I have to admit that
Noah needs those kind of challenges sometimes. He is an entelligent dog
and last year I learned that he can do so much more than other Tollers. Will work on not doing the same mistake with Sessan. |

I have been asked to put some new pictures of Sessan in
to the homepage, so people have the opportunety to watch her developing.
Consider it done :o) I am still working on getting a hold on the puppy pages and renaming the pictures with the puppies names. But it takes time... The Retrieving practise finally started and she knows what to do. She was for the first time trained on dummies yesterday. She surprised by having a perfect grib on the dummie and delivering to my hand :o) She is just as intelligent as daddy Noah, and it really is very promising for the future :o) On Friday we will be moving and I am at this moment very busy packing things together. Hope that it will be an easy moving aspecially now that I have a puppy to take care of. |

Yes I know, 2 weeks already past by since last update. It
has been a hard time combined with the sickness and a little puppy that
needs a lot of attention.
Last week we had a short visit from Cecilia and the Noah son Scott, who have moved from kennel Adorea in Norway to Denmark. He is a very stubbern young boy and total Noah Clone .o). Only difference is that he may have a bit stronger bones, a thing that is absolutely positive :o). He and Sister Sessan came along just fine and I am looking so much forward beeing able to follow him closely! I have made some changes on my Link page. All the
links had begon to fill to much and instead I have putted the banner for
Tollerlinks on the page. There fore I have only been letting the links
with family relations and a few of my closest Tollerfriends stay on. Sessan have grown quite a lot these last 2 weeks and hase for the moment looong legs. The retrieving practise are going fine. In 5 days I am finaly mowing in to our new apartment in Ringsted. I am looking very much forward to this. Sessan are almost house clean, only with a few small accidents these last couple of days. |

This last week have gone by with a lot of hard work on
making Sessan house clean. During the night she is 100% clean and wakes
me up if she have to do something. (She offcourse doesn't do anything
where she sleep) :o) During thre daytime it is a little bit different. But already now I have captured her in peiing, where she get locked out and shortly after finishes up out site. So clever this little girl is :o) Noah has become really good playing with his daughter and I sence that he is enjoying becoming a pack. He even play's with her just like his old teacher Chico, did when he was growing up!! There fore i am not afraid that Sessan wont learn the rules and good social behavior. The alone home practise has also begon and I am very proud to say that she has already learned to be alone :o) I have gone out on some small walking trips with Noah and it was only the first time she protested a lot. Second time she only barked once we came home again and since then she totally ignores when we are going for a walk. :o) It will never be a problem for my dogs to be alone home, because i have always made sure that they have a save and sound base before I leave them alone for the first time. For me it is also very important that she wont be to dependable of Noah, so he will also in the future have some walks alone with me. At the Adorea Kennel in Norway the Noah children have gained 7 weeks and are soon to leave for their new homes. I aspecially are looking very much forward to having Scott living very close to me here in Denmark at home with Cecilia and Christian. Think to be so lucky to have another Noah child so close to me :o) Have been updating the puppy pages and will try to get updated with pictures these next few days. I hope that all the puppy buyers of both the litters in Sweden and Norway, will send me a lot of pictures allowing me to follow them all. This is something i would very much apreciate In 2½ week I am moving home to ringsted. This time in to my own 2 room appartement with lots of space to my dogs. I am so looking forward for this!! |

It has been a long time since the latest update, but the
days have been long and busy.
The 2 of May Noah entered the DKK Dogshow in Aalborg. Noah didn't get the CACIB this time, but became 3 best male dog this time, beaten by Annette's Murphy and the days big surprice Zeus, who got his first Excellent and CAC in Denmark + the Reserve CACIB :o) A big hug and congratulation to Pia and wonderfull Zeus. Katrine once again was the super handler on Noah and later on in Juniorhandling she became BIS1 Juniorhandler with sweet Penny. A huge congratulation and lots of hugs. You are so clever!! In the evening I went on the trip to Kristianssand. I was so lucky to get sleep at Anne-Lise and Eivind home Lauvstua. Noah though was quite upset thet he didn't get to say hello to the family (Daddy Mascot and the girls) that he decided to talk loudly all night long telling about his un satisfaction with the situation. Ruining my sleep. The day after Anne-Lise and i went on to Arendal, where Gunn Tove, Alpha and the puppies were waiting. It was indeed the big puppy buyer day and through out the day there were 20 people :o) Noah defenetly remember Alpha and tried to mate with her a lot of times during the stay. Luckly Alpha was able to hold him in distance. Crazy dog ;o) The puppies were absolutely wonderful and I am very proud of what Noah have been a part of creating. aspecially all the good things he seemes to have past on. Besides that Alpha is a wonderfull mother. Noah had the opportunety to try fatherhood and took the job very seriosly. When he was together with the children he washed their buts and cudled with them. Eventhough he sometimes had 7 puppies chasing him and try to find security on my lab. Noah and I stayed in Arendal and had a good time with Gunn Tove, Alpha and the puppies until Tuesday morning, where we headed home again. It became a long trip through Sweden to the Springer Nova kennel to pick up Sessan on the way home. Finally back in Denmark again with our little Sessan, the time has gon by very fast :o) The whole family has completely fallen in love with the little girl and our Norwegan Forest Cat is very much in love and has accepted her as a part of the family. He even played with hereventhough he is twise as big as her, he has been very careful. Noah has taken fatherhood very seriosly and is playing with her. He is very happy about Sessan and has accepted that she get some of the attention. Friday we went on a trip to Soroe where there were
huntingtests, I had been told to come and show of Sessan and that she
was. She even said hello to some of the grown up dogs and had a really
good experience with that :o) Today we moverd up in the summercottage and the dogs have been enjoying themselves very much :o) And finally I got my own apartement :o) So the 5 of June I am moving in to a 2 room apartment in a lovely area, with wonderful green sorroundings.. |
